Dogs learn more quickly when trained in the positive... what they should do, versus what they should not do. Dogs also learn better when they are having fun. Owners are more likely to attend class, if they are having fun. Thus, we make every effort to ensure that your experience in class is not only informative and effective, but LOTS OF FUN. If you've been turned off by the screaming trainers in the big box stores, let us assure you that screaming is not allowed at DogSweetDog. We also encourage, but do NOT require, the use of clickers in class.
Puppy Kindergarten and Good Dog Obedience Classes are open enrollment, meaning you can start at any time and end at any time. No waiting around for the next session to start, and if you have to miss a class it's OK. Classes are purchased in blocks of 6 for $120. If you need more classes, or want to learn more, you may purchase another 6 classes. Classes for 2012 begin January 21 and continue all year long, with the exception of holiday weekends and school recesses.

PRIVATE TRAINING
Whether it is here at DogSweetDog or in your home, private lessons are designed to address specific behaviors, such as excessive barking, house training or leash aggression, or for owners whose schedules do not accommodate group classes. Diane's hourly rate for private lessons is $100. Robin's hourly rate is $75. There is a 1 hour minimum on private training sessions.
DAY TRAINING
Perfect for dog owners with odd schedules or very little time to attend classes. Drop your dog off for daycare in the morning, we'll work with him during the day. Then we'll show you what we learned when you pick him up, and show you how to maintain the work after you've gone home. $30 per day (includes daycare).
PUPPY PRESCHOOL
Day training for very young puppies who are too young to stay home all day. Your puppy will stay in the house with staff, learn to use the doggie door, appropriate play with other puppies, bite inhibition and more. $18 per day.
BOARD & TRAIN
Go on vacation, come home to a well trained dog. Price varies depending on length of stay and level of training needed.
